Abstract:
The problems in this
study are related to the less optimal ability of students' mathematical problem
solving. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of
The Power of Two learning strategies on the mathematical problem solving ability
of class X odd semester students of Trisakti Vocational School in Bandar
Lampung in the Academic Year 2019/2020. This study uses an experimental method,
as well as data analysis using statistical formulas. The population in this
study were all students of class X SMK Trisakti Bandar Lampung consisting of 4
classes with a total of 129 students, while the sample was taken 2 classes
namely the Accounting class as an experimental class, and the TKJ class as a
control class. The sample was taken using the Random Sampling Cluster
Technique. To determine the ability of students' mathematical problem solving
the author conducted an essay test in the form of 5 questions which had been
tested for validity and reliability. Tests in this study used the t-test. From
the results of testing the hypothesis using the
