PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK TALK WRITE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS X IPA

Abstract:
The problem which investigated in this research was related to the students low systematic communication skills. Based on that things, this research was aimed to know the influence for the application of learning models Think Talk Write towards student mathematical communication skills at class X IPA in even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2018/2019. The method who the writer used was experiment method that is by applying directly of Think Talk Write to the experiment class and applying conventional instruction to the control class. The population of the research was the class  of X IPA in even semester, which spread into 4 classes that consisted of 127 student. According to the population so the writer took two classes as a sample which was X IPA 3 as experiment class and X IPA 2 as control class that each class consisted of 32 students. The sampling technique who the writer used was Cluster Random Sampling Technique. The variable measurement by using this test in the form of essay as much as 5 questions, which was firstly tested of its validity and reliability. The analysis of simple statistic data by using Wilcoxon test. Based on the result of the research and the data analysis obtained value of zhit = 1,64 and from the distribution table on the percentage 5% know ztable =1,96 so gotten zhit < ztable. Therefore, can be conclude that “There is an applying an instruction model Think Talk Write (TTW) an influence students mathematical communication skills at class X IPA in even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2018/2019”. So, it can be said the application of Think Talk Write (TTW) got positive influenced in improving students mathematical communication skills.
